Training Opportunities
Community Care offers a wide range of professional development trainings and seminars designed to enhance services provided to individuals in need of mental health services. Community Care strives to provide its employees, contracted foster parents, and in some cases, community members training covering the latest service provision techniques used in the mental health field. In addition, Community Care provides those trainings, both initial and re-certification, required by state licensing entities and other regulatory standards.
The Maine Child Welfare Training Institute offers a wide variety of wonderful training and educational outreach programs for Adoptive and Foster Families. CWTI is a cooperative project between the Muskie School of Public Service at the University of Southern Maine and the Bureau of Child and Family Services in the Maine Department of Human Services, with a goal of enhancing the effectiveness of child welfare providers to improve the quality of services delivered to the people of Maine.
