An interview with Jessica George, Central Coordinator

1. How long have you worked at Community Care?

I have worked at Community Care for 3 years and left for a few short weeks to try something new but quickly returned and have been back at Care for 4 years - making it 7 years total. Upon leaving the agency I realized how much I enjoyed working for Community Care and thankfully a position was available for me to return to.

2. What do you like most about your job?

I love being part of a TEAM who works hard to provide support to individuals and families in our communities. As a supervisor I enjoy working with those I supervise to assist in removing barriers that they experience in order to help them complete their many tasks.

3. What do you like most about Community Care?

I like feeling appreciated as an individual as well as part of the team. Community Care works hard to show staff that we are truly an asset to the agency.

4. Can you tell us anything about your family that you would like to see in your story?

My husband and I have 2 wonderful children and a dog. We enjoy spending time in the Maine outdoors hunting, camping and fishing.

5. What do you do in your free time?

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and making memories as my children grow.

6. What is your favorite kind of music?

I especially enjoy country music.

7. What is your favorite place?

My favorite place to be will soon be my new home as we are signing for our first home this week and we have so many fun projects that await us!

8.  What are a couple of things that people might be surprised to know about you?

That I like to hunt and fish.

9. What are you most proud of?

I am proud of myself for setting goals in my personal and professional life and working hard to achieve them. I am most proud of my husband and children.
